Today at noon, a large-scale worldwide protest took place in Miami, expressing support for Russians who openly oppose the authoritarian regime in Russia, against the war with Ukraine, and defending the core values of a free society. Despite the absence of the Russian Embassy in Miami, more than two hundred concerned Russians gathered at this rally.
Participants signed a petition for the US Congress to officially reject Putin’s favor and protest against his regime. The event was also attended by Pavel Sulyandziga, a political leader of the indigenous peoples of the North of Russia, a Russian social activist, a former member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, a former member of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues , and the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights, with a Ph.D. in Economics. The Russian regime personally recognized him and his organization as a “foreign agent†and also opened a number of criminal cases against him for political reasons.
