On February 27, 2015, Boris Nemtsov, a well-known Russian politician, democrat, and fighter for freedom and human rights, was killed. Nemtsov was not afraid to tell the truth and opposed the criminal Putin regime. His views and political activity led to his death, as the Putin regime does not tolerate dissent, and the perpetrators of his murder were not punished.
On February 29, 2020, in the United States, the human rights organization New Freedom of Russia joined the Nemtsov memorial marches organized around the world.
We gathered on this day in Florida and California to pay tribute to the memory and respect of the man with a capital letter, who became a symbol of democracy in Russia, and also to remind that heroes do not die.
